Mark your calendars, yesterday Konami announced the scheduled release dates for the three major titles taking place within the SIlent Hill universe. Turns out, they are soon than you think.
Silent Hill HD Collection: March 6
This two game collection is said to include Silent Hill 2 & Silent Hill 3 together in one package. Visuals redone in 720P HD for both games providing them with even more scare factor. Also worth noting is that the voice-overs and score are being updated as well.
Silent Hill Downpour: March 13
The eighth game in the series will be dropping mid march. The plot of Downpour consists of a prisoner Murphy Pendleton who becomes stranded in the southeastern region of Silent Hill after his transport goes off road. Water is said to be a important element this time around and the PS3 version will be the first Silent Hill title to support 3D. The Nu-Metal band Korn will be supplying the theme for Silent Hill: Downpour
Silent Hill Book of Memories: March 27
This will be the first Silent Hill release for the Playstation Vita. This release is said to be an top down view action game that supports co-op multiplayer. Book of Memories will include a new non-canon storyline featuring characters from previous installments.
