As I also said on a greek video games blog, this is lame. No, it’s not just lame. It’s disappointing. I may be biased, because I HATE social gaming. Far as I am concerned, it’s maybe the worst “twist” in video game history. But this is…pathetic. I can remember myself playing SimCity 4 and SimCity Societies and always believed those games were…kind of respected. That all happened in 2007.
Now, in 2012, some macho and Oxbridge stick-in-the-mud presents this to us. An abomination full of fisher-price graphics, happy little sounds and stupid quotes like: “we can come down quick an hard on any critical activity”. Everything goes just to draw more people to the franchise, but at what cost?
Well you know, in the gaming community there are quite a few people who enjoy the more casual approach to a franchise. Whether or not this title would lend itself to this format would be interesting to see. I am not a fan of this style of game, but you know everyone has their own tastes.
I am wondering how long it will take for them to announce the Call Of Duty Facebook Edition. 🙂
My God…

yeah, i am not a fan of the social gaming aspects to a point, I wish it was more of an option than an integration. But so goes games these days…
