Elite Battle Zone is a PlayStation 3 Video Gaming Tournament Community designed to enhance the end users experience. This tournament is unique to Elite Battle Zone™, and teams in the past have enjoyed this style of tournament with games such as Socom: 4 & Resistance 3.
Elite Battle Zone was created as a PlayStation 3 online gaming tournament community where tournaments are created for the gamers by the gamers. The dedicated staff works together with community members along with polls/surveys and forum discussions to gauge what the online gamer wants to experience in a tournament. The drafting of rules may take some time, but when it is all said and done our community members have a great experience while participating in our tournaments. Elite Battle Zone was created in March 2010, and took off like a bullet train in May 2010. Games are released, they come and go, but one thing remains “Elite Battle Zone provides great tournaments for PlayStation 3 online gamers”.
Elite Battle Zone™ has provided hundreds of prizes to the winners of our sanctioned tournament events, and we have done all this without charging the end user. Participants do not pay to play, and we simply ask them to register for our great forum community, submit an application, and follow the rules. With online gaming and the dominance online gamers exert we are happy to make as many as happy as possible. We know we will not provide enjoyment for them all, but we try. We naturally have to thank all our sponsors such as Mad Catz, Gamer Grub, CTA Digital, Harco Lab’s, KontrolFreek, and EMERGEN-C that have donated product for all of our great tournaments. We thank them for giving back to the online gamers that have given so much to the gaming industry.
Elite Battle Zone has provided many great tournaments for games such as Socom: Confrontation, Socom: 4, GRID, Rockband 1&2, Tekken 6, Madden NFL 11, NHL 11&12, GT5, Resistance 3, MLB 12 The Show, Call of Duty: MW3, Battlefield 3, and others. We are pleased with the direction the gaming industry is going, and we can assure our current community members and future members that we will continue to provide excellent tournaments for them to participate in. We are excited with the 2012 lineup of games to be released, as well as games in 2013. Elite Battle Zone will be looking at all these games, and determining if we can provide top notch tournaments for them. Elite Battle Zone is proud to announce our Battles Evolution ITGM Tournament using the game Starhawk releasing May 8, 2012. Clans will battle in two attacks per week for ten weeks or however long a clan may last. Clans will start with three territories and one territory will be labeled as the Base of Operation. Clans Base of Operation may only be attacked once if it is their last territory. No clans shall be eliminated in the first week. Each territory will have a different Map, Soldier Count, and Game Mode to be warred by the defending and attacking clans. Soldier Count will be 4 vs. 4, 8 vs. 8, 12 vs. 12, and 16 vs. 16 with maps being large and small based on territory size.
Clans will start out with a set amount of Battle Points, and they must use Resources once they become available to travel from continent to continent and inner continent land travel. Each Resource has a BP value to purchase, and a BP value to use each time. Clans are only allowed to control four territories at any given time, and once a fifth territory is acquired they must label one dead. Each dead territory will have a Death Symbol signifying it being dead, and which clan controlled it. Clans may change their Base of Operation during week five, and it will cost Battle Points to do this.
A clan is allowed one Leader and two Representatives. Each week on Sunday at 8:00 pm est. there will be an attack meeting using EBZ Flashchat. This tournament involves clans being able to think about who they want to attack, when they attack, and what resource they use. This tournament is not for those clans that just want to war. This tournament is for those clans that are looking for a challenge and something that tests the wits and strategic mentality of their members.
All clans are welcome to submit an Application to participate. Application questions must be 100% filled out. We will only be inviting twenty-one clan applications. Each clan application will be distributed an Invitation. Invitations must be accepted by clan leader/rep to be involved in this grand tournament. Winning clans must submit Match Results, and losing clans must confirm. Battle Points will be tracked weekly for each clan in the forum. We hope all clans that participate in this grand tournament enjoy it, and have a blast. Let the strategic battles begin!
