Details…

For those of you that remember, Spy Vs. Spy was a 1984 game that was released on classic systems.  The premise for the game is actually based on a comic short that appeared in almost every issue of MAD Magazine.  The game features two spy against each other as they tried to gather enough items needed to exit the level before a timer ran out.  The best part of this game had to be the animations that were triggered once the opposing spy set off one of the traps you had waiting for them.  I owned Spy Vs. Spy and it’s sequel for the commodore 64.  The game was a lot of fun and had a multiplayer offering as well.

There happened to be a remake of sorts that appeared on Xbox and Playstation 2, but this game featured the spys and mostly consisted of a humor filled deathmatch game.  Absolutely no details are known as to what Warner Bros. has in store, but the image above has me hoping that I see a true sequel to the classic format.
