Blox, an addictive 2-D physics based platformer, has just entered its open beta.  In Blox, the player takes control of “Blob” a simple being which wants nothing more than to explore the world and fulfil his addiction to “End” signs.  Players must guide Blob over multiple obstacles, outmanoeuvre the various enemies they will come into contact with and set the fastest time possible for each level in order to achieve a high score.  With family friendly  graphics and easy to learn controls, the game is playable by all age ranges.  However, with online leaderboards for the fastest players, Blox can keep even the most hardcore entertained.  Blox features 50 levels ready for launch spread across five different themed areas, each with their own challenges and enemies for the player to best.

During the beta NerfGames is hosting a Blox tournament.  Players will get to play across 10 of the 50 levels ready for launch.  Players must race through each level and attempt to set the highscore for that level, at the end of the tournament the highest scoring player for each area will win a free copy of the full game.  All tournament information including current leaders can be found on the Blox site at http://nerfgames.co.uk/blox/tournament
